KLIM gear does NOT come with shoulder, elbow, back, or knee protection. The gear is sized properly for fitment of under armor (such as the 661 Pressure Suit or the Acerbis Koerta Roost Deflector - Pressure Suit). Combined with rider specific patterning and Ballistic Cordura® in high wear areas, the abrasion resistance is right there with some of the top lines.
KLIM Technical Riding Gear is not designed for track days. The clothing fits the dual sport market perfectly and when used with under armor, it is as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. Our race team uses KLIM gear when we compete in Rally Moto events up and down the east coast. From cold and damp days to hot and scorching afternoons, I've been able to concentrate on the riding instead of peeling or adding layers to deal with the diverse conditions that we have faced. The last thing I need to deal with is a creeping crotch!
